Default Lines for Sage XP

Hi have recently bought a sage xp 9 6 for a #6, i have been looking a some airflo sixth sense lines would this rod handle 6/7 sinking lines OR would i be better 5/6, i know the XP is a pretty powerful rod and personally i think it would, but would just like some views

On an XP I would be tempted to go for the 6/7 but it is really what you prefer. The 6/7 will load the rod quicker.

It will certainly handle both lines just fine.

I'd tend towards the 6/7 and I think most casters would be more comfortable with that set up.

If you are an average caster or will need to cut through the wind, go for #6/7.

If you are a storming caster with faultless timing, or don't envisage fishing in a stiffer than average breeze, then go for #5/6.
