Where abouts in N Ireland are you, some fisherys below

Movilla Trout NEWTOWNARDS my local fishery had a bit of a weed problem but alot has died off you will get fish on the dry fly even now

Staid Ballyclare once the best in NI i havent fished it for years went though a bad spell but by all reports back to its best, check it out on facebook

Woodford Carrickfergus never fished it but by all accounts pretty good again on facebook

Personally i love Movilla because i love dry fly fishing plenty of places to fish not just round, plenty of overhanging trees, fish small (20) black, and light leader, i fish a #5 rod.

Hope some of this helps

Yea Murloc is a good spot tho have yet to have any fish more than couple pound out of it. Been about a dozen times no big fish showing when i have been there.

Ended up in Tildarg today must say i was impressed with the setup and the quality of the fish was amazing best fighting fish i have had yet.
