Just bought myself one of these off ebay as a backup seatrout rod. It was dead cheap so not too bothered if I don't use it much, but just wondering if anyone has got one and if it's any good?

I had a Ti+ 10' #7 and found it to be a beast of a rod, cast myself a tendinitis too. Broke two tips, replaced without cost by Scierra. A rod that makes you try and cast extreme distances but lures you into forcing as well (light and ultra stiff). So I gave (yes) it away. My lesson learned : don't ever try to force this rod, let it work. In order to do that shooting heads and short, fast strokes are the order of the day. Not easy (for me!) with a 10'.

Well I do like a fast action, we'll see how I get on with it. Thanks for the advice. Worst case scenario it sits in the boot of the car in case I break one of my first choice rods...

if you dont like it and decide to sell it give me a shout my mate has two of these and fantastic they are he just wont part with one
