Default First Cast

I am planning to fish a small stillwater tomorrow in Kent (Springhill). Never been there before and never fished this late in the year before. What would be the fly on the end of your line for your first cast? Assuming a bright day like today.

Cheers.

PTN, GRHE, Damsel

Or

Zonker, or some kinda fry imitation.

But tbh best to ask the locals/regulars about what flies are fishing well.

Denzil. This is probably a silly question but what is PTN? I can work out a GRHE but PTN has me beat!
