I see on Complete Fisher Forum PP is advertising fishing caps, what exactly is a fishing cap?? It could be anything in my opinion....

It usually means a baseball cap, that style anyway.

Don't worry mate, help is at hand. I'd hazzard a guess at it being a drab, fabric head garment that incorporates several features desirable in the persuit of the removal of fish from their natural habitat... as opposed to a contraceptive cap, or those little blobs of gunpowder on paper rolls that go 'bang'.

Don't quote me though... It could be a device that limits your angling time.

Hey Chris if you lived in america every swinging male wears a cap of one sort or other and 99 per cent are baseball caps and with the hot sun in most places over there it,s required protection as well as keeping hooks from sinking in your scalp. Some times I think my fellow colleagues were Born with caps on their heads!
