Default Wader Dilemma

Hope someone can give me some advice, I'm looking to purchase my first set of stocking foot waders and can't afford more than around the £150 mark.

Problem I have is within that price range the sizing options are somewhat limited and as I have sasqautch size 13 feet it's difficult finding waders with big enough stocking feet that aren't going to bury me in the body, I'm 6' 2" and a fairly slim build, large or XL max would be what I'd be looking at.

Are there any waders around in these sizes that accommodate us big footed freaks, also would I need a boot size of 14 or bigger to be comfortable over the stocking foot, I imagine these sizes aren't easy to source in wading boots, would fabric walking boots do the job ?

The other thought I had was the possibility that Diver Dave may be able to replace the feet for bigger ones, not sure if that's feasible.

Any advice appreciated, Andy.

Hi Andy

Worry not, i regularly extend and reduce the size of stocking feet. What we do is simply add or remove a band of material to suit the size you require.

I do these every week and it is very strong, never had one back leaking!

hope this helps

Dave

Get waders that fit, then get feet that fit via Dave, comfy waders are important, and can be important to safety too!
