I used to fish it on a regular basis years ago.It is a beautiful water and excellent fot the fly.If you dont catch the scenery will be worth it.I would say it is not an easy place to fish and you have to think about your fishing and it will test your skills to the limit which is what its about.I am sure you will enjoy it and the cost is low but its worth every penny either way catch or not.

Olly - also worth trying a few hours up on the Avon Dam if you are down there. On the moors behind South Brent. Free fishing from Shipley Bridge upstream and all the dam - some nice brownies in the dam - very wild, mostly around the 6" - 8" mark, but the odd fish around a couple of pounds come out.
Small and dark works well - all wild fish too, so catch n release. Testing water the river - small stream with plenty of fish.
