Default Alba Rods - closed

Just read on World Sea Forums that Alba Rods have closed due to health reasons

I do wish him all the best as he is such a nice chap and made some utterly gorgeous rods too

Did you say Sage?
Stan will wash your mouth out

Stan is a good friend and he is currently teaching me the art of rod building which is much appreciated.

Stan has injured his arm and since then fell down the stairs and broken his foot, i am told it was not alcohol related

He will be back on the tools when he has recovered

Just an up date for the guys that know Stan at Alba rods.
Stan is now fighting fit and he is now re vamping the website after a very difficult 2011.

Infact he is fealing so fit he even threatened to kick my Ar$e earlier tonight
Well that goes hand in hand when learning rod building i am told.

I need to drop down and see him. The extension on that 10'9 gave way. I was inspecting it in the house and left it out and the dog chewed the cork handle off Stan's prototype. I'm frightened to go down.

If you want I will hold your hand.
His foot is better now so a kick up the Ar$e may follow.
