Default Which is the best still water in Scottish central belt?

Ok, so i'm relatively new to fly fishing, only been at it for two seasons, initially on the water of leith. and then onto my local still waters, harlaw and threipmuir. Have been branching out recently and have been to loganlea, rosslynlee and the leadburn manor (covered in another post). What in your opinion is the best fishery you have visited and why?

You'll have to narrow down the remit a bit.to get any kind of decent answer.

Just looking for opinions but I guess what I should have asked was, what makes your favorite still water the best in your opinion. As I say just looking for a wide range of peoples opinions and possibilities for new venues for myself and another couple of newbies...

Part of the fun of angling is finding out the good waters for yourself! , There are no easy stillwaters to fish you just have to offer what skills you have and learn from the regulars , Try Tweeddale fishery at Gifford - Top quality trout and fight great as well! But Frandy Fishery takes a lot of beating , Great fishing on the dry fly all summer

Cheers
Col

good list from jim but i would add the glow (loch glow) now closed for the season but 6 fish limit 7:30-dusk for £8 downside is it can get crowded with the bait fishers as it is a any method fishery but is 200 odd acres so plenty of space!! and for a beginer i can recomend swanswater only a mile from north third and open all year with two smaller ponds for beginers. hope this helps
