On their website they state that SANA "is campaigning against certain activities of Scotland's West Coast marine salmon farming industry in the belief that these are endangering wild migratory stocks and the environment.".

They have just secured a sponsorship deal for the Scottish Youth Team from a Scottish Salmon Farm.

given that they have accepted sponsorship for some time, perhaps years, while accepting support to campaign against salmon farming, its hard to say no.

SANA find themselves in that situation though.
They are way short of funds this year.
Any sponsorship must be welcome, albeit from the supposed "enemy"
Simillar strange bedfellows occur in all walks of life.

the amount of threads springing up across several forums would suggest this is not a good way to attract future funding or members from either side, in effect killing your support in one move.

Not at all.
It is now common knowledge that any sponsorship from said fish farming company has been used solely for that purpose however.
As I said, some one sponsored the bairns.
Surely said youth team deserve a little more respect than has been aimed at them recently?
