Default Rising Fish

I visited my club loch today for a wee security visit and to do a Cormorant count(required to get a cull licence).what amazed me was the amount of rising fish.(this is predominately a brown trout water) they were moving all over the loch.If we can keep the Cormorants down to a manageable level over the winter,we could have a good head of overwintered fish.fingers crossed.

Nahhhh that's just stupid!
What they need to do is a controlled release of Piranah to see how Cormorant predation is affected! Apparently there are no diving birds in waters where Piranah live so it sounds just the ticket

Glad you put a full stop there Jim,I wondered for a moment.
This mild weather is giving us plenty of sport with the grayling at the moment on the dry fly as well, plenty rising today on the Eden.
