Default Can we have a Beginners Section please

As the title says. I'm new to Fly fishing and need some help but where do I post it? On other websites I'm a member of, there are sections for Beginners and improvers. Could we one here please, as it might get more learners/beginners on here and not feel intimidated . Apart from that this is a great website.

Many thanks

Hi Specihunter

Don't worry that you're a beginner there are thousands of members who are only too willing to give advice and encouragement. Don't be embarassed ask any question and I'll guarantee an answer from at least six Forum members.

Not a bad idea on beginner's section. But if in doubt, just post your question in the general section here! Someone will soon help you out.

I second BK, don't be at all embarassed, better to ask a silly question to someone who knows the answer, than spend all day searching the wrong stuff on google. You'll get all the answers you need pretty quickly, there is a wealth of helpful experience here

Of all the fishy forums I have been on, this one stands out for the willingness of members to offer advice.

I haven't seen one instance of wise-guy comments in response to a simple question.

Very approachable bunch these fly fishing chaps. Try it !

Use the ''Contact us'' button bottom of the page to let admin know you have a problem posting.I'm not sure how many posts you have to have before you can sell things, I think it might be 30.

Hello there. I would definitely say that a total of 43 posts in two years Is feeling intimidated, but there,s no need to be. You may get a wry comment now and then, but most forumites will be more than willing to help as we all started some time-it,s just that some of us have been at it for a long time and forget what starting out is really like. Ask away and I,m sure you,ll get help.
