Default the cheapest rod you own & use.

I see alot of threads cropping up, regarding rods. Who casts with what, the price of rod construction, who makes the best rods. All valuable questios in there own right.

So here is my ownone. What is the cheapest rod rod you own & use?
I have a Sumo xs 6-7, paid the princely sum of £17.75 plus postage. For the price, i've been pleasantly surprised at just how well it handles.

A 6'6" Vision Cult Fiber, a glass rod that's a delight to use on the small brooks.

Still my "88"...

It has so far cost me 78 pence a year and this will go down next year...

Daiwa Strikeforce Bass; geat for flounder, Bass in the surf, Pike, and spinning for Pollack. Had it 25yrs and it cost me a tenner. Never had to repair it and I've hammered the hell out of it.

While not this cheap when new, I use a fantastic St. Croix Imperial 7.5 foot #4 that I picked up for $70 including shipping on eBay.

Sears and Roebuck 7' 6" 3 wt cost me $35 in 1958 which was a lot of money then and I caught lots of fish and different species on it. The reel and line wore out long ago, but the rod is still going strong!
