Default Smartphone apps for anglers-anyone use them?

Seems most mobile users will have smartphones in the future, and I'm simply curious about the use of angling-related mobile applications by those on here.

I use the animated knots apps by grog. Probably the best app I've ever installed if I'm honest.

Of course there is the standard weather forecast app.

You'll be pleased to hear David, I now own a "relatively" smart phone, and I am finding my way around it slowly.
My mate has all the apps on his I phone and it's remarkable what you can get, as Tam said, the knots one is brilliant.

https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result

It costs £3.22 but well worth the money, it doesn't just have fishing knots, there are hundreds and it's well laid out.

Or go onto Market and search for "animated knots by grog"

No good asking me Brian, my mate has them on his I phone.
I have just managed to send texts, make calls, and as of last week, now get and send my emails, for me, that is one BIG step, believe me!!
