Default Wistlandpound reservoir

Hi all,
Anybody fished Wistlandpound reservoir North Devon and had any good results and can you recommend a couple of good allround stillwater flies, im still new to fly fishing so trying to build up a good collection of flies i shouldnt be without.

I can not give you any upto date info as it is some time ago I fished Wistlandpound. When I was there they were on the top taking black gnats. They took "old fashion" wet flies more then the new ones. Nice quiet place. The only warnings is dont put your rod down as it will shoot into the water. I have seen it happen several times. The other warning I give is the rabbits, they will come up to a few feet from you and steal your food , as I have found out.
