Got to be Barnsfold.

2 well stocked lakes, tons of space, Boats available, Kettle, dry room, toilets, parking etc & safe to leave the car.

Frank the owner is a great bloke & knowledgeable of the lakes. It's never that busy, plenty of space for all & more to the point well finned hard fighting fish that are stocked on almost a daily basis.

Cant reccomend it enough.

Also you reminded me of a funny story, I nearly lost my rod, ill make a new thread for it though :-)

Barnsfold. Good water with hard fighting fish. Plus one of the better value for money fisheries.

By the way, this may seem like a silly question but what is it that makes the fish so good there?

Friday was my first (of soon to be many) visits there. I had 2 and my friend had 4, all of which seemed to be perfect, fully finned and very very strong fish.

Frank, the owner, breeds the fish on site. They are healthy well fed fish used to living in the lake when released.

Actually I think Frank takes them out for road work. Joking aside Barnsfold can be a difficult place to fish, but when it,s on song-well it,s hard to beat. Only ever blanked once there in a number of visits and that was due to atrocious weather. Frank and his son are very friendly people who certainly know what they,re doing. I,ve fished about six fisheries in all, but there,s something about BF that just makes you keep going back-might be the chance of hooking some big grown on fish!
