For a really good quality vice at a sensible price take a look at the Veniards Regent rotatable vice. Simple to use, long lasting, and a rock solid hook hold- around the £30 quid mark.

I've just bought a regent rotatable type vice branded as Bison. Seems spot on for £20 Inc delivery!
