Utterly irrelevant.

The guy can cast, doesn't matter what rod or line he's using.

It is a great video for the collection. The man is a spectacular caster and the dvd explains the casts well.

Thank you Greyhound Girl. Manners cost nothing. Obviously lighthouse can only get a rise or try to from people not fish, which in some cases can be sport but does after a while become tiresome.

Oh dear! I'm devastated.

Sage rods and usually SA Mastery Expert Distance lines.

In the comments following the Roll Cast/Switch Cast clip, someone asked him what equipment, his reply:
Sage Vantage #6 Scientific Anglers Expert Distance line

Elsewhere he uses a Sage TCX #6 (the chilli coloured rod).

In that Roll Cast/Switch Cast clip he's also using a bright yellow/green Airflo polyleader: lots of guys in NZ seem to use polyleaders, handy for turning over great big, wind resistant flies. Also handy for seeing loops on video!

Your sarcasm only debases you further, or perhaps you meant to say "embarrased" and apologise?

Sorry Greyhoundgirl but the guys rod weight / line is 'utterly irrelevant' with regard to his ability to cast ... which is the only point I was making.

With a name like 'Greyhoundgirl' I suppose dogged persistence is a characteristic to be expected.
