Get reading glasses rather than a magnifier.

Keep an eye out for one in lidl, they do an led lamp magnifier at about £40 (rather than the £100 or so you can buy at when they mention fishing next to it).

My in-laws have just bought me one of these as a present. I haven't been "given" it yet but as I ordered it and it's at my house, I've had a play.

They bought it pre-reduction and it seems pretty good even at that price so for £25 I'd say it's a bargain.

I tie quite a lot of very small flies, often in the range of 20s to 30s and I'm lucky enough to have one of these ....

Daylight™ | United Kingdom | Ultra Slim Magnifying Lamp XR

Expensive yes but excellent quality.

I recommend a Stonefly Magnifier Lens/Light SF49

Stonefly Magnifier Lens/Light - Superb 1.75 magnification lens surrounded by 8 LED’s that are angled to match the focus length. With table clamp.

Price:£56.27
