Default Quality Fisheries around Stirling

Can anyone suggest a couple of good fisheries around the Stirling area. Planning 4 days fishing there next june. Will be heading for Lake of Mentieth and possibly Wellsfield Fishery but open to any suggestions.

Hi

I haven't fished around there much but I have fished on the Lake Of Menteith. I would defiantly recommend it. The fishing was good and the average fish size was amazing. And when I fished it it was 28 degrees and flat calm!

Wellsfield is no more than hole in the ground. I live in Stirling and my three would be:

1. Carron Valley.
2. North Third.
3. Burnhouse.

Two fantastically scenic waters and a nice quiet smaller stocked water.
