Been trying to work out what the permits are for the Lothian Esk (and where to get them).

Have been told that you can get a salmon permit that runs to February. Does anyone know if this is true?

Unless you mean a ticket for all species, which allows you to fish for grayling or coarse fish through the winter?

But the latest you can fish for salmon is end of Nov on a small number of rivers.
