Default Mixed leader setup

Hi,
Does anyone know if it is ok to use a Flourocarbon tippet with a Co-polymer tapered leader for fishing Dry flies? if so what is the best knot to attach the two different materials. Any advice would be appreciated.

I personally have stopped using fluorocarbon for all my dry fly fishing now. I only use it in the larger diamaters for ressie fishing now. In the smaller diameters it just doesn't sink like it is supposed to so I would rather use a copolymer or fine mono, find them much more supple and better overall. Stroft pretty much covers 90% of my fishing now.

I use Airflo Sightfree G3 Fluorocarbon for all my fishing, I find it sinks like a brick, don't even have to use any mud.
After saying all that, I have ordered some ASSO Fluorocarbon from Grommet, it's just being introduced, Judging by the reviews it's the best thing since sliced bread

Cardiff,! lucky you, I bet you live next door to Gary Evans !!!!

Form a small loop on the end of your tapered leader and the same on the tippet.
Loop to loop to connect. This way you don't shorten the tapered leader when you renew you tippet.
