Hi all,
I'm paying a visit to ravensthorpe on Sunday am for a few hours and not been before. Any tips? Looking like it will be a bit windy, would bank or boat be best?

Get a boat if there is one available.

The fish are all in the top 1ft of water and cruncher boobies were the best fly when i was there last week. The fish are looking up and although there was nothing on the surface last week we still caught all our fish of the top.

There has also been quite a few big lumps put in so be aware!

Popped in for 2 hours and got a couple of 2.5lb rainbows fished off the dam with a brown minke boobie and a white minke.
We saw a huge trout leap clean out the water 10m from us, the warden recon'd it was a good double..wish I'd got that one
