Last night saw the Institute of Videography Awards taking place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The awards are designed to recognise the best UK films in the country over the last year.

Casting At Shadows was filmed in Christmas Island earlier in the year and released in September. The film was submitted to the Institute of Videography and made the shortlist (final 5). Last night at the awards it was announced that the Casting At Shadows Christmas Island film was highly commended in its category.

The three of us (me and the cameramen) are really happy that the DVD has been recognised by the Institute of Videography and hope that next time we can go one better and win the category.
