I have had a few pairs of soniks into the workshop, and they are nice waders. They are clearly made in the same factory as some of the better known brands, but use the better sock and seam designs so we liek them. Ok, they suffer exactly the same problems in time as the others, but are good value (and i say this without knowing the price, but knowing the construction is good)
Like all the better brands, they need to fit properly or you will strain the seams - you are stronger than the material and certainly stronger than the seams! However they seal very well and once done this removes one of the most common leakage areas.
I hear that they are also good at customer care and this makes a big difference. Some companies are really good and others are terrible, not just talking waders here. I work with a couple of companies and am really impressed with their can do/help attitude.
Sonik are not a brand that is well known up here, i see other brands much more commonly on the river bank, but they are centainly not a problem brand in my opinion an dexperience on testing and repairing.
