Hi guys, got a trip coming up with my bro on oct 27th in a boat. Was wandering peoples thoughts on venues, for this time of the year?
He is based in cheltenham, first 2 ideas we are looking at either Farmoor or Draycote (neither of us have fished it yet).
I know wheather is due to change but would appreaciate peoples thoughts and past experiences. cheers jon

Id recommend Farmoor, fished there Saturday along with a club comp from the ospreys club. I had 8 fish by half 10, and a further 18 of the guys bagged with their 8 fish limits.

Fish ranging in size from 1 1/2lb to 4lb - di lines with boobies, floating line to buzzers, really didn't matter! It's on form at the moment.

Keiron, sounds like a good day although would like to be on the water for longer
Don't get out regularly with my brother so really like to make the day special and give ourselves the best chance of some fish action.

Look in the stillwater for trout section here . Draycotes catch reports are in there, and is probably the best resivoir fishing this year. I dont know how to do links so you will have to find it sorry
