Default Fisheries near Dunfermline

I'm taking my daughter to Dunfermline every day this week for an intensive driving course. I've got 6 hrs to spare each day (Mon - Fri) and fancy a few casts locally. Wondered about Kinross, Craigluscar, Lochore Meadows etc. Any info on how they're fishing or any other suggestions for somewhere within half an hour of Dunfermline?
Cheers Rob

Come back over the bridge to Linlithgow, go to Bangour, or bowden springs, easy 30 minute journey, and reasonably priced.

Thanks Bert have been to Bowden a couple of times with good results so might give it a go again. Never tried Bangour I'll have a look. Cheers Rob

Easter Balado: Heatheryford both open and fishing pretty well, 4 hour sessions available.

Make sure you take the roundabout straight after the bridge!(south queensferry for bo'ness)
is a lot quicker that way than by sat nav down motorways!

Well tried Kinross today pouring and blowing a gale. No luck on floating line with buzzers so tried intermediate and lures. Got a good take and run but lost it at the net in some weeds. 2nd one didn't set the hook right and it got off as well.

I;ve got an airflo ridge inter and seem to have lost quite a few on it. It's a mono line with a fair bit of stretch in it. Do you think I'm not hitting them hard enough when they take? Would a different intermediate work better or is it my technique? Any ideas?

Will try Bowden tomorrow.
