Hi
fished Helwith Bridge two or three times this year the last time was about a month ago ,i have always caught there using black buzzers .
I have never fished it in October so i can,t say if that method will still be working.

Only fished here a couple of times this year.

When the fish are on the top i had great sport on skinny black buzzers.

The Last time I went the fish were quite deep down and a small black tadpole with a green fritz collar fished on a sinking line proved deadly. Literally a fish a cast.

I went there last weekend had a couple on an olive nymph in a few hours. Only had a floating line with me which was a mistake.

Just FYI if interested, had an amazing day!

A lot of bad luck - lost 4 fish :-( Landed 1.

Water crystal clear, made catching great fun as you could see the fish 10ft down, even without glasses!!!
