Default Weed beds at Rutland

Hello

Just a quick question;

Where are the 'weed beds' located at Rutland Water? The latest AW fishery cites the weed beds as a hotspot, so I'm left wondering if this is an actual location or just a generalism, i.e. any area that contains obvious weed beds.

I'm out on the boat at Rutland this Saturday, can anyone offer more precise locations of productive weed beds?

Cheers

Top of South Arm, Lax Hill, Hideaway Bay, Browns Island, Manton, Cattle Troug.

Barnhill, Barnhill Bay, Ernies Point, Barnsdale

Tim Appletons, Transformer Bay, Finches..... If you can see the top of any weed, approx 2-3ft down... Your in the right spot!

We fished Rutland on Saturday, north shore of the peninsula from Carrot creek up to Armley wood, plenty of weed beds (and fish!!) along there.

From the bank you're struggling to find a bit of bank where the weed is thin enough to actually get in the water and fish at the moment, it's everywhere!
