Default Blagdon 1st visit

The wife wants to visit Bath in a couple of weeks for a few days, so I thought I would go as well and fish Blagdon for the 1st time. Has anybody got a plan of attack I could follow, I intend bank fishing (dodgy sailor)!!
Cheers Gary.

Well may be a blob, dawl bach cormorant set up would be a good start.
Blagdon is tucked in a valley and not as big as chew, so if you do get a boat it wont be so rough on the water.
If you do want a boat they don't have engines, but electric outboards can be hired from a chap up the road a bit from the lake.
Iv got his number some were I think/

You'll need waders to make the most of bank fishing, otherwise you'll be very resticted as to where you can fish. Check out the Bristol Water thread on CFF for up to date info.
