Default Can anyone identify this fishery

Its in lancashire I believe. There are two lakes. One trout and one coarse.

One of the lakes has an island in it.

Thats it I`m afraid. Thanks in advance.

Probably you are thinking of Oak Royal, near Chorley

The only other fishery of 1 trout and 1 coarse in Lancashire that I can think of is Pendle View, near Clitheroe although I don't think the trout "pool" has pike in it. The coarse lake is aimed at Carp although I think that there are a few big pike in it - long time since I've been there.
any other clues?

Graham

Oak Royle fits your description perfectly. I can't think of another that does.

Does the maggot drowneders lake at Loveclough/Hillside have a island? I think the new carp lake does.

Click the image to open in full size.

Kingfisher (above) has an island reached by a jetty, with another jetty out into the lake. I fished it once last year when the guys were just re-opening it. I quite liked it but haven't been back (my club water is nearer and is already paid for). Is it still a working fishery?
