Fished Mentieth many times in competitions it's one of my favourite lakes. Yes, it's a lake not a loch the only one in Scotland. Lovely photos that bring back many memories for me. Thanks for sharing them.

It's not the only lake in scotland, there are several, Hirsel presmenan Cally and so on, Menteith being the only natural lake among them, being the difference.
