Default Redington RS3

I recently snapped my Redington RS 3 9ft 5 weight rod whilst casting. I suspect the butt had become loose during the course of my days fishing, and so, unable to cope with my energetic (some might mistakenly say frantic) double hauling gave up the ghost.
The main Redington importers, Guide Fishing, have been extremely helpful, and whilst they cannot source a replacement butt length for my RS3 they have offered to look at replacing the whole rod with the newer RS4.
This is a great offer but I am curious if anyone out there has fished the RS4 or better still some experience of comparing the two, as I would be really interested in any comments.
I fished my RS3 with a Barrio 5wt forward taper and they worked well together, I think those Barrio lines are good value.
