Default Season over

I'm sure its been said already, but i just wanted to say

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll try to take a break from all things fishy for a few weeks now and then look towards a new season.

Its bloody sad that it has to stop, but let face it, we're all lucky to be involved in this wonderful sport.

So nothing for it tonight but the bottle.....

The river season for me ends tomorrow, but stillwater fishing in winter is superb and keeps the passion burning until next April when I will be back on the river.
Cheers Diarmid.

My season never really stops. Odd day at the salmon and grayling right through weather permiting.
Might have a go for pike this winter on a fly.

How is the Season over already?

Too stinking hot for fishing anyway......good G&T weather though

I love winter fishing - lovely looking fish, less weed and the banks are usually less crowded. Winter also means nice filter coffee stiffened with something or other to ward off the cold

Actually, the above makes me sound more of a boozer than I really am
