Default 2 piece or not 2 piece, that is the question..........

I have always had a 2 piece fly rod.

Question is, there are a lot of modern 3 piece fly rods, are they as good? I am a river fisherman, so sensitivity is more important than being able to cast a long way.

Over to you guys.............and gals........!

never noticed any difference with the modern multi peice rods, the first 3 or 4 peice I didnt like, too many flat spots, just didnt feel right to me, but now I see no discernable difference.

It doesn't make any difference that you would notice. Design is so good now that even the 4 and 6 section rods loose little by being multi sectional.
