Default River fishing

I know I would have to upgrade my current EA license to include migratory trout and salmon, but I am curious as to any forumite who goes river fishing who would be kind enough to take me out with them. I,ve managed to make friends with a number of forumites and some have taken me out a number of times-all to stillwaters which I,m quite happy to fish, but I cut my fly fishing for trout teeth on small rivers and creeks in america and wouldn,t mind trying my luck in the uk and also would love trying to catch a grayling-a species which has eluded me for many years. Even fished for them in waters in Michigan USA where they live yet never caught one. If any member can help please send me a p. m.? Thank You

Unless you are specifically wishing to Target sea trout or salmon your current licence is fine

If you are only after the grayling flytier you will not have to upgrade your licence. Only need to do that if you want seatrout or salmon.

Same offer here, if your ever in the north east give me a shout. Unfortunately you will have to wait til march to catch a river trout, they are out of season as of midnight tonight. Plenty of grayling to be caught over winter though.
