Default Cork Handle

Hi all,

After some advice, i have a Scierra HM+ 10" #7, great rod however the handle seems to be falling to bits... a large chunk of filler has come out leaving a dent with rough edges right where my fingers grip the rod... means minor chafage on my fingers (i can cope with it but would rather not).

my question is how do i go about either a. replacing the cork or b. smoothing the edges of the dent so it doesnt annoy me...

Cheers,

Stevie

Trim the dent to make it round, or squarish and maybe a bit deeper if needed. Using a seperate piece of cork cut it to fit the dent but leaving it proud of the surface of the handle, if it fits well, then glue it to the area you want to repair, sand it down with fine paper when dry.

I mixed cork dust with silicone sealant and filled the holes with that
