Default Fishing near Muirkirk ... ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE

My wife has decided she wants a Bread Making Course for her Birthday this year and has booked the day – in MUIRKIRK, Scotland.

So – does anyone have any recommendations for a day’s fishing near Muirkirk in early December please for me ?

Had quick look on Google and found “Quarter Fishery” – any good?

Will be driving up on Thurs 01 December, fishing on 02 Dec (hopefully!).

Kind regards

Drop her off, turn around and head back east to Tinto at biggar (about 25 miles or so), probably your best bet for small water fishing, the clyde for grayling, if you come west to cumnock, Cumnock AA has a small fishery (Borland reservoirs) and so does Mauchline and Ballochmyle ( Belston loch).

Stonepark,

Many thanks for your help.

Has anyone any other ideas to give me some options to consider?

Kind regards
