Hi Dave

Last month it had been fishing its head off when they had a 3 visits for the price of 2 offer on. Couldn't fault the quality of the fish, good size, great fighting quality and a good head of fish. Best fish I had was around the 6 lb mark but the avg. size I was catching was around the 3lb mark. At the time I was having a lot of success allowing a team of 3 traditional wets to fish around nymph style in the breeze. Best fly seemed to be the solider palmer on the middle dropper (size 12). But if these are not working try a lure, baby dolls seemed to have a great deal of success, along with the ubiquous Dawsons Olive. Happy hunting , you'll enjoy it, providing the weather remains settled i.e. you don't want too much wind, as it is very exposed on Leighton.
