Have a look at John Norris and a Shakespeare Odyssey, £25 plus postage.

I recently got a Flextec Streamtec 6'6" 3wt from Tackle Discounts on ebay for £30 and it's luverly. Perfect for flicking little 'uns about. Comes with a bag and cordura tube too. V pleased with it. Set it up with a little 2.5" Shakespeare Summit reel - cheap & cheerful all round!

Tel, which Snowbee?

Classic, Diamond, Prestige?

I had the Diamond 9' - nice (through) action in a 4# but not quite my cup of tea. I also had a go with the Diamond and the Prestige in a 8' 4# - To be honest I was not convinced by the extra money for a Prestige, nice finish but the action felt all to cock (for me) and was less delicate and less able than the blank on the Diamond.

TBH, in the end I plumped for a new (but original) Streamflex 8' #4 - I felt it was far superior in every respect.
