Question Amherst Lodge farm Fishery

Hello fellow fisherfolk.
Has anyone fished at Amherst of late? I'm thinking of going there this week as Hubby is working near there all week. They don't have an up to date website & I'm a bit "iffy" about it as I just can't find any information about the place.

Hi Janet I visited it a few years ago when I helped with a S&T juniors day. It is a series of linked small pools all fairly shallow. Some were at that time dry fly only and catch & release was common. So you had wised up fish in fairly shallow water which were quite a challenge
Regards
Bill

Thanks Bill. I phoned the fishery but wasn't terribly impressed with the converstion I had with the person there! I think on reflection I will give it a miss. Stay home and do the gardening......Or I could tie some flies!!!
