What does everyone use while they are boatfishing, at the minute i am using a Shakespeare box, but was looking at the new Wychwood Boatman bag today and it looks class, any views

I have a wychwood boat bag and although im happy that I have all these compartments too organise and seperate everything 1 thing i noticed was the amount of water it absorbs.
I spilt a cup of tea in my boat and it made a beeline for my bag that was on boat floor and yeah it soaked it. not looking forward too the horrid smell its likely too acrue.
think I might switch back :/

These plastic boat boxes are the only known way of keeping things dry in a boat on those days where the air is really "thin water". I use the Shakespeare and have had no complaints for years. The boat bags are **** - one of my friends has one and the only advantages are that it is easier to transport and looks better.

i use the wychwood and i find no problem with water getting in it has a solid tray base which stops soak up, i boat fish in all weathers and regular and have had it nearly two years and its as good as new, cheers john

I used to like fishing because I thought it had some larger significance. Now I like fishing because it's the one thing I can think of that probably doesn't.

Bought a big Greys boat bag at the start of the season, despite being out in all weathers, it's held it's own, never a soggy piece for me
I have bought a waterproofing spray for next year though, just in case
