I'm looking for a second hand salmon fly rod, sage/hardy but do not have enough knowledge of either to know whether they are genuine or fake any info would be much appreciated. Salopian

If not sure buy from a reputable retailer who deals in used fly rods.As an example Foxtons,Fishtec and Sportfish carry a selection of used/ex demo and part exchanged rods.

Check out John Norris of Penrith. All good second hand stock. I just traded in a Hardy rod.

As JCP states above Sportfish have a selection of second hand rods. I've bought second hand from them and had no problems whatsoever. Have a look at the link below.

I'd look in the classifieds on here or on the salmonfishingforum. I would think you'll find a better price and very little risk of being ripped off. (I kno I've always found good bargins)
