Default End of the season

Yep, its that time of year again. This will be the last weekend fishing before the trout season ends, do any of you plan anything special for your last trip out? Save the best til last? Try somewhere new?
Personally ill be fishing my favourite stretch of the river on Saturday hoping for a few nice wild browns.

It will be the Coquet for me (4wt in hand!) - the weather looks like it will be ideal. Already looking forward to 2012....

A day on the Coquet is never waisted time - I have had my best season to date - managed 2no 17 inch brownies on 2 consecutive casts back in May. Very Happy

I'm going to try for an early start on Saturday on the derwent at Lintzford before the match. That's if the bread knife will grant me permission.

Dazz, I have saved up some time off work - this friday , and the last two days of the season ( thurs and fri of next week ) .

I've got a crappy bug at the mo, but regardless, i'm gonna fish my face off in some of my lovely local rivers in Limerick.

And then I'm gonna be a miserable sod.

The only good news is that my little boy is 1 on Oct 7th and my daughter is 6 on the 28th, so that will relieve the misery that is October ....

Streamfisher has it really been that bad down there? Weve had nothing like that up here, regular rain all year. Hope things pick up for you soon.
