Default Sonic SK3 cassette reel deal - which lines?

I'm fairly new to fly fishing so bear with me..
I bought the above reel when I purchased my new rod in June. It is a promotion deal that Sonic have, am sure you have all seen it. The reel comes with 3 lines, backing preloaded etc.

The lines are coloured white, brown and green. I have almost exclusively used the white line (floater), until recently where I tried the brown thinking it was a sinker - It floated... Today I tried the green line - same result, it floated.

I am a bit puzzled by this Can any one please tell me what the lines should be? The packaging the reels come with don't say.

Is it usual to have to clean a sinking line before use?

Thanks,
Dave

You may need to degrease the brown and green lines, in order to break them in.

Simply dab some washing up liquid on a cloth and wind the lines through it.

Don't go overboard though.

The Pirate.
