Yes I bought one for sea-trout fishing. The casting tip section broke on the 1st cast, Airflo replaced the tip. First time fishing with it struck into a fish and the butt section snapped. I then asked airflo to replace the complete rod, which they did. Never had the opportunity to fish with it since. Could not fault them on their customer service, to give them the benifit of the doubt I maybe got a bad one.

Is this a copy of the Gemini twin tip from Carillon.

no noel, its along the same lines, but where the gemini had 2 differing lengths of tip section, the airflo has same lengths but differing actions, a fast tip for sinking line work and a softer section for floating lines

Hi Shrek

I've got 2 of them as I'm notorious for breaking rods. I love them and the Loomis GLXD and the Diamondback VSR are now my back up rods. I prefer the D tip which I think is the stiffer. You should be able to pick them up for £75 and for that I think it is great value for money
