Hardy Mach Intermediate Line Question

I've just bought some intermediate Hardy Mach line. On the box it says it has a welded loop, but the line actually has a braided loop on the end.

Is this right?

Braided Loops on clear intermediate line is a waste of time, the fish end up chasing the loop.
