I just wanted to thank my friends on the forum who have been kind enough to take me out fishing. The biggest thanks go to bill1 as he's taken me out the most. I can't hold a candle to his skills, but his company is valuable and his wit is a breath of fresh air. Thanks to beerlover Jamie. Though we went out only twice the experiences were quite enjoyable and I look forward to the next time. Next thanks go to 141saxon Dave who took me out once. Unfortunately his business commitments must mean he's unable to go fishing or even post on the forum as I haven't heard from him for some time. And of course thanks to Baz(chesscar) for taking me to Stocks. Meeting and making all those new friends there have so far been the highlight of the season for me-never mind that I blanked. And if anyone else feels they could help this old man out when the others can't make it don't feel too shy to offer. I love making new friends almost as much as tying flies and fly fishing. I look forward to the next meet at Barnsfold though at the moment am not sure who I'll be going with.
