Default Wind

I guess this will be the downside of going out fly fishing in a windy day....
get a buzzer with trout saliva stuck in your eye brow. Had to carry on fishing with it for half session, then slowly made my way to the hospital......

At the risk of shutting down the laughter, I make no apology for repeating this...

Some years ago Trout Fisherman published a sickening close up photo of a fly fisher's eye with a size 12 or 14 Amber Nymph embedded in the pupil. It was as awful as it sounds. Wear eye protection when fly fishing at all times !!

My son got a salmon Toby treble stuck in the back of his head on a windy day. He fished for three days and refused to let me take him to hospital. Even when we got home he insisted I removed it. No anesthetic was involved.
