I would say trout, as the edge of the mouth extends past imaginary vertical line from the eye.
Also, loads of scales between lateral line and top of fish.
Going by colour, I would say a brown trout.

That's a big troot and without scale sample analysis it's just a broonie. Could have been to sea though, just one of those mysteries you cannot tell my looking at it. It is definitely not a coloured salmon.

My first instinct would be to say Brown trout. Possibly a Seatrout but certainly not a Salmon.

I go for a trout.
